Overview
The Southwest Assistant Directors for Education and School Improvement Network exists to provide an opportunity for Assistant Directors with specialism in education to come together to share ideas and enact projects that provide improvements within the sector. The network is supported by the Southwest Association of Directors of Children’s Services (SWADCS) and links with the Assistant Directors for Safeguarding network.

This network comprises of the 15 Assistant Directors for Education and School Improvement from the Southwest region. To be a member of this network group you would need to be hold this equivalent role in a local authority in the Southwest.
Governance
The group is chaired by Amanda Davis at Dorset Council. This Group links with the SWRIIA, SW ADCS and SW Assistant Directors for Safeguarding network Groups.
