Overview

The South West SEND Regional Collaboration & Peer Challenge (RCPC) is an important part of self-evaluation cycles and provides helpful information for your local area partnership, for writing your local area inclusion plans and should be planned into your annual self-evaluation cycle.

SW SEND RCPC is not an inspection but an opportunity to work with a critical friend to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Children’s Services Peer reviews are already well established across the region. The methodology for South West SEND RCPC is similar to the Children’s services methodology. The first South West SEND RCPC took place on the 21st June 2024. Our second RCPC will be on the 9th October 2025.
